1. Overall purpose of the position

   We are seeking a person who is highly analytical, business focused and creative to be part of the eBay Spain Online Marketing Team. You must be exceptional at managing quantitative analysis and using the results to optimize creative development to drive business results.

   You will be experienced at translating business requirements into creative development. You should also be organized, self-motivated, optimistic and energetic.

   Importantly, you should have the desire to be part of a team that is dynamic and works in an open and meritocratic environment.

   The work will focus on our on Portals / Partners agreements and campaigns. Due to the importance of this channel, your work will have a direct and important impact on eBay’s overall business.

2. Job Description / Responsibilities

   Manage the current Portals / Partners channel, developing and optimizing creative messages, and performing trafficking processes.

   Develop new Portal / Partners agreements.

   Pro-actively assess the success of program strategies and implement modifications to better enhance marketing campaigns and ROI.

   Initiate, manage and implement improvement plans of online advertising programs, product integration and technology linkages.

   Be center of knowledge for online best practices within eBay, tracking industry’s development and sharing with other eBay countries.

   In addition to having a high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and good follow-through, this individual will be self-motivated, energetic and have the desire to be an active member of our marketing team.

3. Experience, skills & personal characteristics required:
   

   Required: 6 to 8 years of work experience of which at least 2 years in Internet Marketing, with solid and demonstrable experience with Portals / Partners

   Required: Fluency in Spanish and English. Strong communicator, both written and verbal

   Combination of highly analytical and orientation to creative solutions

   Great at negotiation; both on tactical and strategic levels

   Good understanding of the technologies involved in the online marketing environment

   Self motivated and enthusiastic team player who works well under pressure

   Experience with Mediaplex or comparable tracking system

   University degree Preferable: team management experience
